Ratasha Smith is an experienced communications professional specializing in creating engaging content for various digital media platforms within high-paced political and mission-driven organizations. As a political communications consultant, she collaborates with multiple progressive political candidates, driving impactful campaigns that amplify diverse voices and champion equity. Ratasha holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a focus in political science from Southern Connecticut State University. Ratasha is deeply ingrained in her community, serving in various roles, including Advocacy Co-Chair of the Urban League of Central Carolinas Young Professionals and Secretary/Treasurer for Precinct 49 of the Mecklenburg County Democratic Party. Previously, she served as the Advocacy Chair of the Urban League of Southern Connecticut Young Professionals and Immediate Past President, Young Democratic Representative for the Democratic State Central Committee of the Connecticut Democratic Party, National Committeewoman for the Connecticut Young Democrats, and Secretary for the Young Democrats of America Women's Caucus, among others.
